First piling ceremony of Singkawang Great Mosque Gate was attended by the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Singkawang, Tjhai Chui Mie and Irwan. The piling ceremony will become the first step in construction of Singkawang Great Mosque project, where this mosque has a history as one of the oldest mosques in Singkawang and in the future it will be connected with Singkwang Central Park / Taman Cahaya Madani.

Groundbreaking Ceremony of Singkawang Central Park

 

Singkawang Central Park project has just achieved an exciting milestone this week through a successful groundbreaking ceremony. At that moment, also attended by Mayor of Singkawang, Tjhai Chui Mie and Vice Mayor of Singkawang, Irwan.

Singkawang Central park is a revitalization idea of Gayung Bersambut park which is located in Jl. Firdaus Rais, adjacent with the Great Mosque, facing towards the city hall. Revitalization is driven to strenghten its urban space identity which provides various citizens activity and develop the community.

Various facilities provide on Singkawang Central Park features to support Singkawang creative community. Hence, artspace facilities area provided as the main attraction: art pavilion, gallery, amphiteatre, cafe, mural walls. Moreover, relaxing and sport facilities are provided in the area such as skatepark, basketball court, jogging track, outdoor gym equipments.

Singkawang Cultural Center project is feature in one of the national television news, NET TV. Principal of PHL Architects, Patrick Lim explained about the construction process of Singkawang Cultural Center which utilizes the existing building as part of new building to maximize construction time.

One of our recent cultural projects, Singkawang Cultural Center just inaugurated on December 18, 2017. At the same time, also opened Insight Singkawang 2.0 exhibition which showcase the history and potential of Singkawang City from the past, present and future. The inauguration ceremony of Singkawang Cultural Center was also attended by Governor, Deputy Governor of West Kalimantan and Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Singkawang

Singkawang Cultural Center: On Construction

One of our recently project, Singkawang Cultural Center is in a stage of construction and will be open next month. Singkawang Cultural Center is a project that supported by Singkawang mayor, Tjhai Chui Mie with the aim to promote the culture and arts in Singkawang. It is located at the city center, a prime location to headquarters office and gathering and event area.

In construction stage, Singkawang Cultural Center will use Singkawang brick as the secondary skin to improve the look of old facade. This place will become a place to display local cuisine, performing arts, visual arts or even become meeting point in Singkawang.
